If you’ve kept up with any of our posting on Facebook and Twitter, you’ve undoubtedly seen a post or two with a Project Management tip from InsideCRM – one of our favorite websites. They come from an article called The Manager’s Cheat Sheet: 101 Common-Sense Rules for Leaders. They’re great reminders and bits of advice, ranging from tips about process and technology to personal habits and management styles.
In an effort to make these great tips more digestible, we keep the article on hand and pick out some of our favorites to highlight every so often. And that worked out great – but looking at them now, it’s a big hassle to try and track down any previous tips in the big feed of posts, so we grabbed some of our favorites and consolidated them for your viewing pleasure here:

72. Segment your customers. Not all customers are alike. Divide your customers into groups that allow you to provide attention and services that meet each customer’s unique needs.”

While there are undoubtedly some good tips in the list, it may be more appropriate to call this list 101 Reminders For Leaders. After all, many of these tips are traits that lead one to pursue a managerial or leadership role in the first place. They are things that make one stand out as a productive manager and a natural leader, and getting a reminder on them is always a good thing.
