Morton Consulting is currently interviewing for a contract to hire Junior .NET Developer role in the Richmond, VA area. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with web user experience and .Net server side development.



Responsibilities:




  • Develop ASP.Net MVC web applications with and without defined specs


  • Implementing client side web interactivity


  • Staying current with changes in web development trends and practices

Qualifications:




  • Solid understanding of common web and ASP.Net MVC patterns and practices


  • Background in C# .Net development (framework 4 desired)


  • Experience with ASP.Net MVC 3+ development


  • JavaScript and jQuery


  • Cross-browser and mobile HTML, CSS, JSON/AJAX


  • The ability to create and consume MS SQL Server 2008 stored procedures and functions


  • Good problem solving and debugging skills


  • Documentation skills


  • Experience with WCF services, Kendo UI a plus
