Morton Consulting is in the process of supporting a customer request for a Banner CIS Consultant in Richmond, Virginia. This is a long-term engagement where our customer is seeking a candidate who has experience with Batch Processing and Configurations associated with moving the product from a single server environment to a multi-server environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation on software applications and hardware solutions, configuration, and migration
- Review manual workarounds and provide recommendations for automated solutions
- Assist the team with developing scripts to identify and correct out of balance issues within the application
- Provide direction for maintaining version control on one box and code testing on another without Network File Sharing
- Evaluate interfaces with web services
- Provide assistance with installation and mapping and provide recommendations on alternatives
- Evaluation of batch performance and recommendations for improvements
Qualifications:
- 10 years of knowledge and experience with Banner Utility CIS version 2.0B
- Experience with migrations from Oracle 8 to Oracle 11.2
- Experience supporting migrations from a single 32-bit processor server to a dual 64-bit processor server
