Morton Consulting is in the process of supporting a customer’s need for a Senior BizTalk Programmer Analyst who will be responsible for the analysis, development, implementation, and support of the electronic exchange of medical information. This resource will be accountable for facilitating the effective import of data from independent, third-party systems to a common, existing database structure.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the programming, technical lead for BizTalk architecture
  • Support BizTalk hl7 implementations for results routing and interface integration      efforts
  • Exercise independent judgment to determine the appropriate course of action to be taken during an interface implementation based on the analysis performed      and all effective evaluation of possible solutions.
  • Develop programs and processes to translate data from various third-party medical data systems into a standard format that feed a common, existing database
  • Translate requirements into design solutions
  • Prepare detailed high/low level design documentation
  • Analyze and independently identify complex technical problems
  • Create repeatable processes for the various products
  • Help develop and manage requirements and process flows
  • Support system team through implementation and acceptance testing
  • Apply technology concepts to business needs
  • Demonstrate excellence in analysis, documentation, and presentation tools
  • Support after hours and weekend message monitoring on a rotating basis within IT

Qualifications:

  • BizTalk Server 2010 or 2009
  • HL7 (preferably someone that has done work with HL7 and BizTalk)
  • Experience with BizTalk HL7 Accelerator
  • .NET Framework 4.0
  • Advanced C#,especially experience with Microsoft.BizTalk.Streaming
  • BAM development and setup
  • BizTalk Server 2010 and SQL Server 2008 setup, including configuring and      performance tuning
  • Orchestration development
  • Experience in custom receive/send pipelines
  • Served as BizTalk architect for at least 3 years
  • Altering HL7 schemas for validation
  • Significant experience troubleshooting proprietary software. Strong technical aptitude and data analysis skills
  • Demonstrated expert proficiency with data manipulation, translations, and conversions
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry as it relates to electronic medical records,      continuity of care documents and hospital systems
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities

  • Possess strong problem solving skills
