Morton Consulting is hiring for a Business Continuity Consultant in support of a customer in Richmond, Virginia. This position applies process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to ensure workflow standardization and modernization at sixteen facilities to support implementation of an Electronic Health Records System (EHRS).

Responsibilities:

• This position applies process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization and standardization projects at all facilities of the Commonwealth of Virginia’s facilities to support implementation of an Electronic Health Records System (EHRS) as well as working with legacy and other new complex systems
• Activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements as well as process standardizations throughout the network
• Providing group facilitation, interviewing, training, and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer
• Serve as a key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise wide integration of re-engineering efforts
• Design process workflows collect and analyze statistics/metrics, identify gaps in all associated processes and risks
• Considerable ability in documenting and presenting results of analysis, including the ability to write reports, develop processes and gain consensus among various groups

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a Health, or Behavioral Health Environment
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records
• Ability to work with large complex processes
• Strong experience leading business process improvement and business continuity efforts
