Morton Consulting is in the process of considering new candidates for an Electronic Health Records Database Administrator for a customer in Richmond, Virginia. This resource will administer, maintain, develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company’s Electronic Health Records System (EHRS) and other DBHDS databases.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, disseminating and maintaining agency wide policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the DBHDS Electronic Health Records System (EHRS) databases, as well as other legacy and core databases that interface with or have impact upon the EHRS system
- Design, consult and assist with the implementation of data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes
- Resolves ERP and other database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field and with Commonwealth of Virginia change management and security policies
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Experience with Electronic Health Records
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Ability to analyze, design, and implement complex data bases
- Knowledge and ability to work with Security policies
- Ability to work with and analyze Networks & associated equipment
