Morton Consulting is in the process of interviewing candidates in consideration for an ERP Test Manager / Test Lead opening available with a customer in downtown Richmond, Virginia. The selected resource will be responsible for coordinating testing activities for Oracle EBS ERP System implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure testing activities will meet requirements and system’s goals and objectives
  • Coordinates and assists with test cases and script creation
  • Assists with test case/script execution
  • Plans and organizes the work of Testers
  • Conduct all types of testing as needed, such as system, regression, load and acceptance
  • Documents test results and related observations
  • Evaluates test results and severity of errors encountered during testing including defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues and interoperability flaws
  • Provides feedback on the outcome of various testing activities by producing reports and documentation
  • Communicates with the vendor in getting issues/errors fixed in a timely manner.
  • Create, maintain and track a traceability matrix between testing and requirements
  • Prepare QA project closeout report
  • Performs related duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Five years of responsible full-time experience with at least 3 years of Oracle EBS ERP system with a demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate the efforts of cross-functional and cross-organizational teams
  • Experience with the functional or technical testing activities of an Oracle EBS solution including knowledge of various types of testing such as functional testing, stress testing, usability testing, and testing security
  • Experience with the design and implementation of Oracle EBS solutions using recent versions of the software (releases 11.0 or higher)
  • Experience with automated testing and test management tool Load Runner
  • Experience in activities related to the areas of business requirements definition, data conversion validation, and system testing
  • Expertise in analyzing system designs and identifying test conditions for various types of business processes
  • Experience, developing, and executing test scripts/cases
  • Understanding of Financial, Human Resources, and Administration functions at a local government
  • Understanding of testing and project lifecycle concepts
  • Proven experience managing complex test programs
  • Strong risk management skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
