Morton Consulting is in the process of securing qualified candidates in consideration for a Lead Systems Developer opening with one of our customers in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a development team of 3 to 6 resources overseeing projects, priorities, and resources
- Manage the analysis, purchase and development of computer applications, interfaces, and other technology needs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all development requests
- Perform business technology planning with customer departments
- Provide reports as required to Applications Development Manager
Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience developing computer systems in programming following the Systems Development Life Cycle
- Over 4 years of experience as a supervisor
- Over 4 years of experience developing applications in .NET 2.0 and 3.5 frameworks using Visual Studio 2005 to 2010, C# and ASP.NET
- Over 4 years of experience analyzing business processes and documenting requirements
- Over 2 years of experience managing technical projects
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to coordinate the work of diverse groups of people across multiple departments to achieve goals
- Proven leadership skills including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field of study
