Morton Consulting is in the process of interviewing candidates in consideration for a Systems Developer opening with one of our customers in Richmond, Virginia. The selected candidate should have experience designing, developing, and supporting Oracle applications using Oracle Forms (9i and above), Oracle Application Server, PL/SQL, Oracle Database (10g and above), Pro-c, and UNIX shell scripts.
Qualifications:
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting Oracle applications using Oracle Forms (9i and above), Oracle Application Server, PL/SQL, Oracle Database (10g and above), Pro-c, and Unix shell scripts
- Requirements Analysis and documentation
- Technical documentation
- Time management skills necessary to work on multiple projects simultaneously (multitask)
- Test case design and development
- Problem solving/Issue resolution
- Source Code management
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Position requires completion of core curriculum for a bachelor level degree in computer science, mathematics, business admin or related field.
- Public Utilities (Gas/Water/Electric) experience supporting and enhancing Customer Billing software
- Experience supporting highly complex software configurations
- Experience and comfort working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in a team environment working closely with customers
- Rotating 24/7 on-call experience
- Browser-based .Net application and/or web service development in C#
- MS SQL Server (2005 and above) and T-SQL
- SharePoint application development
