Morton Consulting is in the process of hiring a Systems Analyst who can work with our customer to translate business requirement documents into key project solution deliverables including system requirement specifications, system use case specifications, activity, collaboration, state and use case diagrams, process flows, user interface wire frames and data.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business analyst, programmer analysts and other systems analysts to integrate and optimize solutions.
• Create and execute system test scripts to validate expected functionality among all application tiers while also facilitating defect prioritization and resolution.

Qualifications:

• Prefer a person that can help resolve issues, work with a good team, very organized, and enjoys challenges.
• Individual needs to have Oracle experience and be proficient in reading/writing SQL statements.
• Development experience required. Must understand object-oriented programming, Java, C, and COBOL experience desired as well. Experience with UNIX/LINUX command-line interfaces is preferred.
• This position works within a customer-focused group supporting high revenue, mission critical system.
• This position works with the application team to respond to production support incidents including problem identification, issue prioritization, and task delegation.
• Design the system for which developers utilize persistent domain objects using DI, AOP and Spring Object Relational Mapping (ORM with JPA/Hibernate).
